Grades =D

So the final grades are out.

Political Science 101 – A
Writing 101 – A
Philosophy 106 – B – wtf?
Math 80 – B
Economics 251 – B

GPA: 3.4

I am pretty happy with my grades overall. This is the best I have done in school since like freakin elementary school, no joke. I am kinda pissed about Philosophy though. First of all, the teacher is fucking wack. He follows the school rules down to the freakin teeth and is a bit wierd in the head. His class was pretty easy. I got A’s and B’s on all tests and quizzes, more A’s than B’s. On the only paper that was due in the class, I got a fking 48/50. I only missed one day of class. I’m pretty sure I did well on the final.

Getting a “B” in that class makes no fucking sense to me. His “participation” category takes up a nice chunk of the overall grade, which is fucking bogus in my opinion. When we had full class discussions, yes, I may have participated a little less than others, but still cmon. I understood the course material, studied for all the quizzes and tests, I don’t think this is fair. Should I shoot him an email? Fuck, bleh..

But whatever, what’s done is done.. I am just dissapointed because I felt that Philosophy was one of my stronger classes and I was for sure going to get an A. Econ and Math are more technical and I don’t do well with technical. Philosophy was far from technical, and I know I deserved a fucking A in that class.
